Los expertos de IGCAT creen que la diversidad alimentaria y cultural es una fuente importante de orgullo y de oportunidades empresariales para aumentar la producción local y empoderar a las comunidades locales.

 

Los expertos de IGCAT unen sus fuerzas para infundir orgullo local creando alianzas entre las comunidades locales y sectores diferentes para estimular el espíritu empresarial, la creatividad y la innovación a partir de las tradiciones y el patrimonio cultural material e inmaterial, siendo éstos importantes recursos para fortalecer y preservar la expresión cultural en las comunidades locales.

 

De este modo, IGCAT pretende también concienciar sobre las cuestiones relativas a los sistemas alimentarios sostenibles y estimular un consumo más responsable para el futuro.
