Food entrepreneur and food blogger – Mukasechic

A Mandela Washington Fellow, Joyce Gyebi is a food entrepreneur who is passionate about African cuisine documentation and preservation. She runs an active catering service — Mukasechic. With a background in TV production, Joyce runs a food-events company that focuses on food events across the continent. She is also the co-presenter for the Ghanaian show Cooking in Heels. Mentioned by CNN  and buzzfeed for her food stories, Joyce is passionate about documenting Ghanaian cuisine. She runs the Food Events Company which runs Ghana’s first and best food market «The Jollof Market» and The Food Business Seminar. She hopes to be a chef and a food book author in the future.

Joyce also works as a food consultant for most of Ghana’s food production companies on recipe development and production. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in fine arts (combining music and theatre arts) from the University of Ghana, Legon.
