Though the fest is far from perfect in terms of its environmental impact, it mandates a laundry list of sustainable initiatives and incentivizes​ even more. The festival organizers have found solutions to many environmental problems, trying to reduce the carbon footprint of the event and making it more environmentally friendly. A range of the solutions include re-usable water bottles and a safer way of composting the trash accumulated at the end of the festival.
