IGCAT’s board members met for their seventh meeting today, Wednesday 30 June, in Barcelona’s Department of Agriculture’s building. The board discussed various administrative issues related to IGCAT and commended the Institute’s hard work to develop the European Region of Gastronomy Platform and Award, as well as commended the work being undertaken on the ART OF FOOD expert meeting. The board was happy to learn about the forthcoming reports on Culture and Food Diversity and on Gastrodiplomacy.
The current board members Diane Dodd, IGCAT; Eva Canaleta-Safont, EUHT Sant Pol de Mar; Jordi Fabragas, Centro Civic Sant Agustí; Caroline Couret,Creative Tourism Network; Marta Crispí i Canton, Universitat Internacional de Catalunya; Rosario Scarpato, IT Chefs; Carlos Fernandes, Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo and; Roberta Garibaldi, University of Bergamo had the pleasure to welcome new board members Jorge Bernárdez, Director at Cultural Organisations (Paris); Iñaki Gaztelumundi, Director at Tangible Consulting, Anja Van Hout, City of Hertogenbosch and Edith Szivas, Director of SeaStar Consultancy.
