FoodFilmFestival – Aarhus

Aarhus-Central Denmark, European Region of Gastronomy awarded 2017 (Denmark)

FoodFilmFestival is the first Nordic festival to combine food and media. Every year the festival opens its doors to events filled with inspiration, new documentaries, food films and media combined with culinary experiences. FoodFilmFestival focuses on the UN’s global goals on food, sustainability, health and climate change, on new medias and art, documentaries from international film festivals and, not least, tastings from Europe’s Gastronomy regions. Since 2016, FoodFilmFestival has successfully introduced young and upcoming filmmakers to a wider audience through film screenings, collaborations, workshop and dinners.

Girona Film Festival – Girona

Catalonia, European Region of Gastronomy awarded 2016 (Spain)

The Girona Film Festival takes place annually during the last week of September in the historic city centre of Girona. Specialised in stimulating talent and creativity, for 32 years now, this event has managed to gather and highlight skilled creators from all over the world, providing them with opportunities to increase their self-esteem and self-criticism. During five days, the Festival showcases over 200 film premieres (mainly shorts) in the city theatres and 200 more films in cultural centres, representing all cinema industries from across the globe.

EATSA Art & Tourism Film Festival

The EATSA Art & Tourism Film Festival aims to honour and celebrate creativity, innovation, and change initiatives, that enhance the knowledge of the world and the sense of appreciation for the human essence and environmental beauty. A catalysing agent for regeneration-based tourism industry transformation, EATSA-ATFF fosters and promotes the engagement of good practices and the creation of socially equitable, environmentally respectful, and economically sustainable tourism models. Organised by the Euro-Asia Tourism Studies Association (EATSA), the Festival adopts the set of principles underlying the Manifesto for the regeneration of the tourism sector.

ART & TUR International Tourism Film Festival

Since its first edition in Barcelos, in 2008, ART&TUR Festival has effectively accomplished its mission of making the world acquainted with the best audiovisual tourism productions made in Portugal and, reciprocally, showing the Portuguese the best tourist cinema productions worldwide. As a forum for sharing experiences, ART&TUR Festival has earned high international recognition, thanks to the quality and quantity of films it distinguishes every year.

Amorgos Tourism Film Festival

South Aegean, European Region of Gastronomy awarded 2019 (Greece)

The Amorgos Tourism Film Festival is an international, annual four-day event that presents the elite of tourism and travel videos. Launched in 2010 during the 8th International Convention on Culture and Tourism “YPERIA,” the event is a meeting and networking point for journalists, filmmakers, directors and producers from around the world. It is considered one of the most important festivals in the Greek Tourism Audio-visual sector and acts as a unique worldwide inspiration in the filmmaking industry. Organized by the Municipality of Amorgos and the Cultural Women Association of Amorgos, the festival is supported by the Greek National Organisation, the Region of South Aegean Islands and the Ministry of Aegean and Island Policy. Since 2017, the Amorgos Film Festival is a member of CIFFT.

NNLE Youth Palace of Zugdidi Municipality

NNLE Youth Palace of Zugdidi Municipality is an outside-the-school, multi-profile, educational institution, that helps youth to organise their free time properly and to show their creative potential. Youth palace provides the development of professional skills in youth, conducts practical and theoretical work for achievements, develops journalistic skills. Provides highly professional training and promotion of various fields of art, such as Georgian Folklore, Folk Instrument Ensemble, Classical and Pop Music, Study Group of Guitar, Vocal – Instrumental Ensemble, Georgian Folk Choreography, Theatre for youth, Sports and modern Dances, Drama Studio, Visual Arts.

Famtàstic · Evenings of Gastronomic Art

Famtàstic · Evenings of Gastronomic Art is a unique event that brings together gastronomy, live artists, short films and other audiovisual elements, and musical components with the finality of creating a diverse cultural offering for the public and local, as well as external, content producers. In the thematic sessions of Famtàstic, the audience is offered a combination of artistic content centred around the theme of each evening: audiovisual content (each session has a selection of national and international short films); bespoke gastronomic tastings from passionate and innovative chefs, with local and sustainably sourced products (DOP, DO, IGP); live artistic content (including concerts, theatrical art, and performances); musical content (selected by DJs and curators, tailored to the theme of each session); other forms of artistic expression, including installations, videos, exhibits, ambiance/settings, projections.

CINECLUB 262 – Cineciok Festival

Cineciok Festival is an innovative event that celebrates the intersection of cinema and chocolate in the historic city of Modica, renowned for its IGP chocolate. This annual event has become the visual arts section of the Chocomodica program, creating a unique synergy that enhances both visual arts and gastronomy. Cineciok provides a rich and immersive experience for participants and visitors alike, offering a significant opportunity to explore and celebrate the connection between cinema and chocolate, delivering unique cultural and professional enrichment. 262 is a Film Club organization established in 2009, working in the cinematographic field. It provides a space for students at all grade levels to view a wide range of movie styles in a theatre-styled setting and engage in discussions in a casual environment. Films range from Hollywood blockbusters to cult classics, to obscure independent gems.

Terres Travel Festival – Films & Creativity

Catalonia, World Region of Gastronomy awarded 2025 (Spain)

Terres Travel Festival – Films & Creativity is an international tourism film festival that shows films focused on sustainable development and natural tourism. With terres LAB they want to explore the most innovative tendencies in the audiovisual representation of the travelling Experience. The festival takes place in Tortosa, the biggest city in Terres de l’Ebre region (Catalonia, Spain). The 35% of the region is protected by 2 natural parks. Its natural heritage is protected by the label of UNESCO BIOSPHERE RESERVE. Terres Festival has received the EFFE award for the years for its vocation of territorial structuring and the drive to promote creativity. Since 2019, Terres Festival is the only member in Spain of the CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals).

Chania Film Festival (CFF)

The Chania Film Festival (CFF) is active year-round in education, cinema, and culture. As a Regional Cultural Institution, CFF offers a rich schedule of innovative, youth-oriented activities. Short- and long-term initiatives leave a lasting impact and ensure continuity. Every October, the Chania Film Festival hosts a grand, multifaceted celebration. People from around the world, including notable figures from artistic and scientific communities, gather to enjoy high-quality films, events, musical journeys, and exhibitions. CFF offers a targeted schedule of screenings and educational activities for children and its community, encompassing culture, tradition, tours, food habits, and oral history, with hundreds participating in its intensive educational programs. Supported by enthusiastic volunteers, these activities create a vibrant mosaic of culture, joy, and creativity. Over twelve years, the Chania Film Festival has grown dynamically, attracting thousands of viewers across Crete and beyond.

Festival TEF Krk
