Laura Ruana Pavon

Deputy Director General, Agrifood Enterprises, Quality, and Gastronomy at the Government of Catalonia

Laura Ruana Pavon (Sabadell, 1980) is Deputy Director General for Agrifood Enterprises, Quality, and Gastronomy at the Government of Catalonia. With over 20 years of experience in agri-food public administration and rural development, she has held senior roles including Head of the Integrated Control and Payments Service.

Since 2025, recognised as an Expert for IGCAT (International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism), Laura holds degrees in Agricultural and Technical Engineering, a Master’s in Agri-food Law, and a Master’s in International Affairs and Diplomacy. Fluent in Catalan and English, she has actively contributed to international conferences, training programs, and public service innovation.
