Josep M. Florensa is a freelance consultant and, for over 27 years, he has collaborated with a consulting company in Lleida (Catalonia) where he gained significant expertise working in the field of SMEs taxation and accounting. He has been working with mainly family-run businesses, for which he has implemented several processes of analytic accounting and budgetary control, accountancy audits, company valuations, studies of investment and financing projects, as well as business plans development.

Due to his accounting professional vocation, mainly focused on business controlling, throughout the years he has constantly worked to value the economic and financial information of enterprises, helping them upgrade this information, both quantitatively and qualitatively, as well as using it to improve their management.

Josep M. Florensa has a degree in Business Sciences from the University of Barcelona and has completed an advanced course in Management Control at ESADE. Furthermore, he has completed several post-graduate and specialised courses related to taxation, accounting and financial statement analysis at the University of Lleida and other various associations and professional bodies.
