Francisco S. Guitard works at the intersection of culture, gastronomy, heritage, technology and international development, creating projects that connect tourism, education, creative industries and civic engagement. As founder and CEO of OverlaB Intelligence, he develops strategic innovation, digital storytelling and cultural technology initiatives across Europe, the United States and the Caribbean.

He is also president of Instituto Nauta, promoting cultural, educational and technological cooperation throughout the Americas. His work focuses on strengthening regional identity, heritage interpretation and sustainable development through culture, gastronomy and innovation.

Francisco currently leads the advancement of the First Coast World Region of Gastronomy – Candidate for 2030, highlighting the culinary diversity and shared cultural heritage of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Since 2025, recognised as an Expert for IGCAT (International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism), he also supports the expansion of IGCAT-related collaborations across the United States through the broader USA World Regions platform, promoting gastronomy and cultural diversity as drivers of innovation, tourism and international cooperation.

His projects include BeatWay, an interactive cultural and tourism platform integrating storytelling, geolocation and audience engagement, and SIARCH, a digital ecosystem for museums, archives and collaborative research. He also leads the Casa Natal Picasso Málaga – Texas initiative, connecting art, education, technology and cultural diplomacy between Spain and the United States.

Rather than developing isolated projects, Francisco focuses on building long-term operational ecosystems capable of generating visibility, civic participation, institutional collaboration, and sustainable economic opportunities across territories and sectors.
