Jutamas Wisansing completed a bachelor degree, majoring in television production. After exploring the field of drama production for several years, she then went to New Zealand in 1992.  She completed a master’s degree in commerce and management and also a doctorate in tourism planning and destination marketing from Lincoln University, New Zealand. During those years, she was involved in marketing and promoting Asian culture as well as creating a greater understanding about Asian businesses. Her academic pathway started at Prince of Songkla University in 1996. Appointed as a director of the Graduate School of Tourism Management at Assumption University for 8 years, she was able to establish the first PhD in hospitality and tourism in Thailand.

She is now a managing director and consultant, leading an innovative team at Perfect Link Consulting Group “a consortium of experts”. The expertise ranges from marketing, branding strategies, climate friendly management, sustainable tourism, community-based tourism, and positive psychology a strength-based organisation development. With diverse cross-sector clienteles, she manages the bank of experts in the region who share passion for gastronomy and the totality of sustainable culinary supply chain management. Her research is focusing on creative tourism, the value creation, gastronomy tourism and gastro-diplomacy, and storytelling through food. She is committed to sustainable gastronomy movement, and recently taking a producer’s role to curate food film and short VDO documentary content.
