Culture ministers of the EU met in Brussels and adopted a high level document on cultural heritage. The opening words of four paragraphs (out of the thirty) carry the essence: Cultural heritage plays an important role in creating and enhancing social capital, has an important economic impact, plays a specific role in achieving the Europe 2020 strategy goals and cuts across several public policies beyond the cultural.
