The fifth meeting of the European Region of Gastronomy partners successfully took place on Wednesday 1 July 2015 at the Departament d’Agricultura Ramederia i Pesca, in Barcelona. The meeting, organised by IGCAT, was attended by partners from the regions of Minho, North East Brabant, Central Denmark, Lombardy, Marseille Provence, Riga-Gauja, Valletta, Sibiu and Catalonia.
During the meeting the partners have reported on the main activities that have happened since the last meeting, and have discussed on financial and economic issues. They agreed for Diane Dodd to become the President of IGCAT, for Eva Canaleta to take up the role of secretary of the organisation, and they appointed four members of the ERG partner regions to join the IGCAT board. Moreover, they started reviewing and discussing the interest from potential new member regions.
