Martyn Bould MBE
Chairman – Cayman National Cultural Foundation
Martyn Bould is an IGCAT expert (International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism) since 2016. He was recognised by Her Majesty, the Queen, in the 2012 Birthday Honours and made a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (Civils Division) (MBE) for his services to cultural preservation and development in the Cayman Islands. Martyn is a founding board member of the National Gallery for the Cayman Islands formed in 1997 and is chairman of the building committee which secured extensive funding from private donors to build the new National Gallery, which moved into its purpose built location in early 2012. Martyn served as board member of The National Trust for the Cayman Islands from 1998 to 2002, was chairman from 2000 to 2002, and was chairman of the Historic Advisory Committee from 1998 to 2002.
The Foundation regularly participates in Carifesta a regional gathering of Caribbean regional artists and arts organizations. In addition the Foundation strongly endorses the work of IFACCA and its mission in creating a world wide resource to share the knowledge of its member organisations on a global basis.
