Evi Chioti
Consultant Chef, International Judge
Evi Chioti holds a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Macedonia, Greece, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Cultural Policy and Development at the Open University of Cyprus, specialising in wine and gastronomy tourism. She is also a Certified Sustainable Gastronomy Chef from Alma Italy Gastronomic Studies University.
Evi’s passion for gastronomy extends beyond academia. She has trained in French and Greek culinary schools, earning high distinctions while promoting Cyprus internationally. Her career spans high-end gastronomy, sustainable development, cultural heritage preservation, and humanitarian initiatives, positioning her as a leading voice in global gastronomic dialogue.
As the President of Disciples Escoffier Cyprus and a former Vice-President for Education and Publishing at the Cyprus Chefs Association, Evi is deeply involved in advancing culinary education and cultural diplomacy. She is a professional member of prestigious organisations such as Academie Culinaire de France, Les Toques Francaises, and the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS). Additionally, she serves as a certified judge for international competitions, including the International Taste Institute in Brussels and the Boussias Awards.
Evi’s expertise has been recognised globally. She is a Gold Winner in Patisserie at Chefs Club Athens, a Sustainable Recipe Winner at Smart Chefs Awards, and an Awarded Chef at the Gastronomy Biennale in Rome for her presentation of an Ancient Greek Cuisine menu. As a Vocational Trainer, she has organised educational seminars on Cyprus cuisine, Mediterranean gastronomy, fermentation techniques, and sustainable gastronomy.
She is an Ambassador of Taste for the Global Gastronomy 2020-22, and recognized as an IGCAT Expert since 2026.
