Beauty Nyongani is a seasoned educator and tourism professional with over two decades of experience across Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Zambia. She currently works with The Bushcamp Company in South Luangwa, Zambia, where she contributes to the company’s flagship community initiative, Charity Begins at Home, a program delivering impactful education, conservation, and healthcare support to underserved rural communities. Her tourism career spans a range of leadership and operational roles, including Assistant General Manager at Zikomo Safari Camp and Duty Manager at Mfuwe Lodge. Throughout, she has championed sustainable tourism through initiatives such as tree planting, borehole drilling, student sponsorships, and the Meal-a-Day Program. In 2024, she was honoured by the Zambia Tourism Authority as 1st runner-up for Best Customer Service Individual, a testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence, empowerment, and guest experience.
Beauty holds an MBA in Leadership and Management Strategy, a BSc in Travel and Tourism Management, and diplomas in both Education and Tourism. She began her career as a teacher in Zimbabwe, later lecturing in Botswana, and now serves as Board Chairperson of Yosefe Senior Secondary School in Zambia, where she leads governance and strategic planning. A proud member of the Institute of Directors Zambia, the Institute of Hospitality, the Hospitality and Catering Association of Zambia, and the Customer Service Institute of Zambia, she is deeply passionate about climate advocacy, cultural heritage, and inclusive development. Her love for traditional cuisine is central to her work. She views food not only as nourishment but as a vessel for storytelling, identity, and intergenerational knowledge. In her spare time, she enjoys preparing local dishes and exploring how gastronomy can preserve heritage, strengthen communities, and promote sustainable livelihoods across Southern Africa.
