Davinia Galea
Founder and Managing Director – ARC Research & Consultancy
Davinia Galea is the founder and Managing Director of ARC Research & Consultancy, supporting the sustainability of the cultural and creative sectors through strategic connections across Europe and the Mediterranean. She served as Executive Director of the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts (2007–2013), chaired Malta’s first National Cultural Policy (2011), and was part of the team behind Valletta’s successful bid for European Capital of Culture 2018.
Davinia has advised international bodies including the World Bank Group and contributed to EU cultural diplomacy initiatives. In 2025, she was appointed to the European Expert Network on Culture (EENC). Through ARC, she remains actively engaged with several European and Mediterranean networks, including IGCAT, European Festivals Association, Culture Action Europe, Pearle*, and Medinea—reflecting her ongoing commitment to cross-border cultural collaboration and policy development.
She is an IGCAT expert (International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism) since 2016 and an active collaborator in Gozo’s bid for the European Region of Gastronomy 2026 title.
