Pepe Fassos
Organic Farmer & Owner – Five Sixty Farms
Founder – Fusion Agrifood
Pepe Fassos, an Organic Farmer and Entrepreneur, was born and bred in the beautiful Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia. He is a qualified chef, audiovisual producer, certified organic farmer, owner of Five Sixty Farms, and founder of Fusion Agrifood. As a Capvista Ambassador for the Global Agritourism Network and a field consultant for the Pacific Islands’ “Regenerative Vanua” in Vanuatu, Pepe brings a wealth of experience. Five Sixty Farms has become an award-winning market leader in both business model and product development and supply. Although Five Sixty remains small in scale, it services most of the northern rivers farmers markets, hospitality supply, and small supermarkets. Five Sixty is expanding the market for organic production with a joint venture, FUSION AGRIFOOD, managed by a four-member team, aiming to supply certified organic horticultural produce combining unique IP and market connection. With a focus on food, all roads have led to organics and nutrient-dense offerings. From 2012 to 2016, Pepe managed a 500K RSPCA-approved chicken farm, which opened his eyes to the shortcomings in megacorporate agriculture. Five Sixty Farms was born out of this in 2017, growing organic microgreens, vegetables, flowers, and herbs in an organic regenerative fashion.
