The fifth Knowledge Incubation in Innovation and Creation for Science Newsletter has just been sent out and can be found here:

KiiCS addresses the question regarding how art and science can be brought together to make science closer to citizens and stimulate innovative ideas.  Working with partners they intend to develop 9 original and innovative incubation actions associating people from the science and the creative sectors to share their expertise and stimulate innovation. These have been running from September 2012 and will last until June 2014.

Each Incubator Partner has chosen a specific way for implementing incubation actions: laboratories, workshops, lectures, exhibitions, artists’ residencies, etc. They work on a large variety of topics having a significant social and ethical impact on society such as «Smart Cities”, «Life Sciences”, «Sustainable transport” and «Sustainable energy”.
