Clara Florit

Menorca, Spain

Born in Ciutadella de Menorca 26 years ago, Clara Florit is the finalist who represented Menorca, European Region of Gastronomy candidate 2022 at the European Young Chef Award 2019.

Clara is a student at IES Cardona in Menorca, where she has completed a Vocational Training in cooking management. During her studies she did an internship at Mon Restaurant in Menorca and was awarded a three-month Euro-Toques Scholarship that gave her the opportunity to have a learning experience at restaurant Adolfo in Toledo.

She loves cooking, reading, travelling and getting to know new cultures and cuisines. Her dream? “I want to become a great chef who merges the different gastronomies I will encounter throughout my journeys.”
