Jury announcement for the European Young Chef Award 2017

An international jury panel chaired by Greek celebrity chef Argiro Barbarigou from South Aegean, European Region of Gastronomy 2019will be in charge of  selecting the winner of the European Young Chef Award 2017.

The jury for the European Young Chef Award 2017 will include:

Rosa Mayordomo, Board member of the Acadèmia Catalana de Gastronomia i Nutrició (Catalan Academy of Gastronomy), Catalonia (Spain).

Carlos Fernandes, Associate Professor in Tourism Studies at the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (Portugal).

Cáit Noone, from Galway International Hotel School at Galway Mayo Institute of Technology (Ireland).

Ilona Sares, International Project Coordinator of ProAgria North-Savo (Finland). 

Lluís Serra, Executive Director of EUHT StPOL (University College of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts), Catalonia (Spain).

On 6 November at EUHT StPOL hospitality school in Sant Pol de Mar (Barcelona), the eight young chefs will compete for the coveted title innovating on tradition and using local products from their native regions.
