IGCAT talks about Environment and Culture in Malta

On 16 January 2016, Davinia Galea, Deputy Director of IGCAT (International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism) was invited to chair the plenary session at the General Convention of the Nationalist Party in Malta. This year’s theme was ‘idea ambjent’  (Idea Environment). Her topic was ‘Environment and Culture’ in view of  which she spoke about Malta in a changing world culture where the importance of making good policy choices now, based on European cultural values, will have important long term implications.

Speakers at General Convention this year were professionals in the fields of environment, economy, and culture, as well as students from EASA (Europe Architecture Students Assembly) Malta who were invited to present EASA 2015.

The President of the Convention was architect Simone Vella Lenicker.
