Il est titulaire d\u2019un doctorat en sciences administratives avec une sp\u00e9cialisation en gestion et g\u00e9otourisme de l\u2019Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos au P\u00e9rou (2021), et d\u2019une ma\u00eetrise en planification et gestion de projets agrotouristiques et \u00e9cologiques de l\u2019Universidad Agraria del Ecuador (2013).<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">Luis a commenc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re dans la gestion agricole et le d\u00e9veloppement communautaire, puis s\u2019est orient\u00e9 vers le secteur du tourisme o\u00f9 il a trouv\u00e9 sa v\u00e9ritable vocation. Tout au long de sa carri\u00e8re, il a dirig\u00e9 de nombreux projets visant \u00e0 int\u00e9grer le patrimoine culturel, la gastronomie locale et les pratiques de tourisme durable dans le d\u00e9veloppement communautaire. Il a occup\u00e9 divers postes, notamment celui de directeur de la carri\u00e8re touristique \u00e0 l\u2019Escuela Superior Polit\u00e9cnica Agropecuaria de Manab\u00ed Manuel F\u00e9lix L\u00f3pez (ESPAM MFL) et celui de professeur sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans le g\u00e9otourisme, la gestion du tourisme durable, la planification des destinations et la collaboration avec des scientifiques de diff\u00e9rents domaines pour des projets de recherche.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">En plus de ses contributions acad\u00e9miques, Luis est le fondateur et le directeur de <strong>l\u2019Organizaci\u00f3n ALMA -Alimentaci\u00f3n Manabita<\/strong>, une initiative pionni\u00e8re d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la promotion de la cuisine traditionnelle Manab\u00ed. Il a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le d\u00e9terminant dans divers projets locaux et internationaux qui favorisent la durabilit\u00e9 environnementale, la pr\u00e9servation culturelle et le d\u00e9veloppement du tourisme rural. Ses recherches et ses publications ont port\u00e9 sur le tourisme durable, le g\u00e9otourisme et l\u2019int\u00e9gration des pratiques autochtones dans le d\u00e9veloppement touristique.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">Luis a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans la cr\u00e9ation de politiques touristiques r\u00e9gionales et la mise en place de routes g\u00e9otouristiques, telles que le Geocircuito Jama-Pedernales, le Circuito del Cacao, le Paisaje Cultural y Natural del Cacao, le Latitud Cero, l\u2019EtniaChachi, les Selvas H\u00famedas Tropicales del Pac\u00edfico et les Paisajes Alimentarios de la Cordillera Costanera y Pac\u00edfico Ecuatorial de Am\u00e9rica. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 un ardent d\u00e9fenseur de la promotion de la gastronomie et du patrimoine de Manab\u00ed en tant qu\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments cl\u00e9s du tourisme durable. <\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">Actuellement, Luis dirige le projet <em><strong>\u00ab Manab\u00ed Gastronom\u00eda Milenaria \u00bb, <\/strong><\/em>qui vise \u00e0 documenter et \u00e0 pr\u00e9server les traditions culinaires de Manab\u00ed \u00e0 travers un livre et une s\u00e9rie audiovisuelle. Il continue \u00e9galement \u00e0 \u00eatre impliqu\u00e9 dans plusieurs initiatives de recherche explorant le patrimoine gastronomique de l\u2019\u00c9quateur, le tourisme durable et la relation entre le tourisme et l\u2019identit\u00e9 culturelle.
