Szivas<\/a> (Spain), Vice-President of IGCAT and expert in sustainable tourism; <a href=\"https:\/\/igcat.org\/team\/orazio-bellettini-ecuador\/\">Orazio Bellettini<\/a>\u00a0(Ecuador), Social entrepreneur, Co-founder and Executive Director of FUEGOS; <a href=\"https:\/\/igcat.org\/team\/mayada-badr-saudi-arabia\/?preview_id=31399&amp;preview_nonce=362b56c80e&amp;_thumbnail_id=31400&amp;preview=true\">Mayada Badr<\/a> (Saudi Arabia), CEO of the Culinary Arts Commission and one of the leading\u00a0Saudi names specialized in Culinary Arts; <a href=\"https:\/\/igcat.org\/team\/pepe-fassos-australia\/\">Pepe Fassos <\/a>(Australia), qualified Chef, certified organic farmer, owner of Five Sixty Farms, and founder of Fusion Agrifood;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/igcat.org\/team\/ana-paula-sancana-portugal\/\">Ana Paula San\u00e7ana<\/a> (Portugal), Technical responsible for the beekeeping in Lousamel Beekeepers Cooperative; and <a href=\"https:\/\/igcat.org\/team\/bilel-aboudi\/\">Bilel Aboudi<\/a> (Tunisia), national coordinator for major international programmes (EU), Head of cultural industries\u2019 development, international negotiator and Regional culture policy expert (Arab and North\u00a0Africa regions).<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Gala night to crown the winning websites!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a grand celebration held at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hotelfenyo.ro\">Hotel Feny\u0151<\/a> in Miercurea Ciuc\/Cs\u00edkszereda, the <strong>Top Websites for Foodie Travelers 2025 Award Ceremony<\/strong> took centre stage, bringing together international guests, local stakeholders, and tourism experts. Organized by IGCAT and Visit Harghita, the event was hosted as part of the award celebrations for Harghita, European Region of Gastronomy 2027. Receiving the Award from Dr. Diane Dodd, IGCAT&#8217;s President means that Harghita may start planning their award year!<\/p>\n<p>The Award Ceremony was moderated by <strong>G\u00fcnther <\/strong><strong>Ott\u00f3<\/strong>,\u00a0Radio and Television Presenter, and counted with the presence of President of the Harghita County Council, <strong>Barna-Botond <\/strong><strong>B\u00edr\u00f3<\/strong>; General Consul of the Hungarian Consulate in Miercurea ciuc\/Cs\u00edkszereda, <strong>L\u00e1szl\u00f3 <\/strong><strong>Percze<\/strong>\u00a0(online) and Consultant in tourism marketing,<strong> Pascu <\/strong><strong>R\u0103zvan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the day, participants embarked on an exciting snow-filled adventure to <strong>Harghita B\u0103i<\/strong>, where they explored the stunning winter landscapes during a guided trip to the P\u00e1los Monastery. This was followed by a delicious lunch at the Castor Restaurant, offering a delightful showcase of the region\u2019s culinary traditions.
