ART-idea<\/em>\u00a0welcomed\u00a0Kseniya Khovanova-Rubicondo<\/a>\u00a0to its cultural policy residency, 17th -19th June 2013.<\/p>\n Kseniya is a policy expert who has managed and conducted a number of empirical and evaluation studies in the fields of culture, intercultural dialogue,\u00a0public economics and innovation, and ICT4D.<\/p>\n She has worked for the Council of Europe, the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, the US Agency for International Development and the Government Financial Officers\u2019 Association in Chicago.<\/p>\n She is an expert for the Council of Europe\u2019s Cultural Routes programme and author of The Study of the Council of Europe\u2019s Cultural Routes Impact on SMEs Innovation, Competitiveness, and Clustering<\/a><\/p>\n The meeting highlighted the pressing need to develop precise and in-depth responses to cultural policy challenges. With the increasing pace of technological, political, social and economical changes in society\u00a0there is a need to find avenues to bridge the different dimensions coexisting in the field of\u00a0 culture \u2013 cultural tourism, gastronomy, artistic and creative expression, etc. \u2013 to\u00a0 share and interpret relevant events, facts, to evaluate their socio-economic impact and offer a quality analisys of relevant data.<\/p>\n In the meetings with ART-idea<\/em>\u2018s Director,\u00a0Diane Dodd<\/a>, Kseniya was also introduced to the new\u00a0International Institute for Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism<\/a>\u00a0and sampled the\u00a0possible benefits of building synergies between the gastronomy, cultural, arts and tourism sectors.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" ART-idea\u00a0welcomed\u00a0Kseniya Khovanova-Rubicondo\u00a0to its cultural policy residency, 17th -19th June 2013.
