But they lack access to productive resources including land, education, information, financial services, technologies, and markets, which affects their productivity.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Rural women are also affected by high poverty levels due to limited livelihood options, lack of income-generating opportunities, and limited participation in decision-making processes, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fao.org\/news\/story\/en\/item\/416577\/icode\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en-GB&amp;q=http:\/\/www.fao.org\/news\/story\/en\/item\/416577\/icode\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1474968022425000&amp;usg=AFQjCNErZPDMheik_Bk_tQ44Zuu7nL7qnQ\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FAO<\/a>. \u201cOrganizing is the key to empowerment. Organizing is the process by which people who are individually weak and vulnerable unite and create power together.
