{"id":11834,"date":"2016-06-20T10:31:29","date_gmt":"2016-06-20T10:31:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.igcat.org\/?p=11834"},"modified":"2021-01-05T17:03:26","modified_gmt":"2021-01-05T16:03:26","slug":"pottery-food-symposium-and-gastronomic-performance-to-take-place-by-the-lake-vaidava-latvia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/igcat.org\/fr\/pottery-food-symposium-and-gastronomic-performance-to-take-place-by-the-lake-vaidava-latvia\/","title":{"rendered":"Pottery Symposium and gastronomic performance to take place by the Lake Vaidava, Latvia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From June 26 till July 9 in the manufactory of the Vaidava Ceramics Ltd. near Valmiera, which is also part of the R\u012bga-Gauja European Region of Gastronomy, the 1 st International Pottery Symposium \u201cClaymeal\u201d will be held.\u00a0It will gather 17 artists from Latvia, Switzerland, the United States, Spain, Georgia, Argentine, Ireland, Norway, Turkey, Jordan, Russia, Finland and Israel to create dishes from the red clay found in the Lode quarry. Two world class pottery artists &#8211; Vincent Kampenaers from Belgium and Inita Reimandova from Latvia &#8211; will host the symposium.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the symposium on July 8 and 9 by the Lake Vaidava a special dinner called \u201ePilnbrieda gar\u0161a. Latvijas vasara\u201d (\u201eMature taste. Summer in Latvia\u201d) will be organized. It will be a 3,5 hours long open-air dinner where diners will be offered a unique symbiosis of atmosphere, sound, smell, taste and colour.<br \/>\nThe closing dinner of the symposium has been included as one of the introductory events of the R\u012bga-Gauja European Region of Gastronomy.
