The Ekasi Project Green is an urban farming project run by young people from Cape Town. The project promotes a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition so everyone can be more aware about the food they eat. The project aims to create a space where young people can be creative while developing themselves and understanding the role they play in the food system. T<\/span>he project was born because of frustratation about the lack of quality food in their community. Working with their community, they understood that their food system needed a transformation through innovation.
