Su madre era vendedora en un mercado h\u00famedo donde la chef Nak aprendi\u00f3 a elegir los mejores ingredientes y a cocinar desde muy peque\u00f1a. Hoy en d\u00eda, la chef Nak es una famosa chef camboyana que se ha hecho un nombre tanto a nivel nacional como internacional a trav\u00e9s del trabajo de preservaci\u00f3n, desarrollo y promoci\u00f3n de las artes culinarias camboyanas. Sus actividades incluyen escribir y publicar libros de cocina camboyana, clases de cocina, comidas en casa, casas de familia, consultor\u00edas de restaurantes, recorridos de artes culinarias y producci\u00f3n de videos de comida camboyana para las redes sociales que presentan historias y habilidades de mujeres mayores en el \u00e1rea rural cuyas voces rara vez se escuchan. Sus plataformas han demostrado ser una fuente para que los j\u00f3venes aprendan sobre su historia y comunidades a trav\u00e9s de la comida, e inspirado a las mujeres a sentirse orgullosas y seguras de s\u00ed mismas al creer que pueden ser m\u00e1s que simples cocineras caseras. Tambi\u00e9n muestra que la comida tiene un gran potencial para atraer turismo y contribuir al desarrollo de la comunidad.   <\/p>\n<p>  Desde 2024, ha aportado su experiencia como experta en IGCAT.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de trabajar para promover la cocina camboyana, tambi\u00e9n trabaja y es consultora para numerosos proyectos como UNICEF, PMA, FAO, EpicArts, GIZ, iDE, Heinrich B\u00f6ll Stiftung, CLA, MOE, MOT, Embajadas y empresas para promover la cocina saludable y la seguridad alimentaria para ni\u00f1os y familias, el empoderamiento de las mujeres y la inclusi\u00f3n de las personas que viven con discapacidades. A pesar de enfrentar un momento dif\u00edcil debido a la pandemia, la chef Nak sigue adelante y, m\u00e1s fuerte, contin\u00faa produciendo contenido de redes sociales que provoca participaci\u00f3n para promover la cocina camboyana, las mujeres y las personas que viven con discapacidades.
