De ni\u00f1a, le gustaba jugar en la cocina donde, m\u00e1s de una vez, terminaba \u00abdorando demasiado\u00bb su comida, obligando a su familia a comer todo con un sabor ligeramente amargo, rodeado de una suave niebla&#8230; Y no, \u00a1eso no era nitr\u00f3geno l\u00edquido! Fue entonces cuando sus padres decidieron que era hora de dejarla mudarse a Barcelona para estudiar (Menorca no ten\u00eda una escuela de hosteler\u00eda en ese entonces). Tuvo el honor de formar parte de la primera promoci\u00f3n que se gradu\u00f3 de la escuela de cocina Hofmann. Fue precisamente all\u00ed donde su inter\u00e9s por la cocina se convirti\u00f3 en una pasi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de formarse en varias cocinas, Silvia y su pareja, Toni Tarrag\u00f3 -tambi\u00e9n graduado en la escuela Hofmann- decidieron abrir su propio restaurante: En Tast de na Silvia. Llevan 21 a\u00f1os trabajando para recuperar recetas tradicionales, variedades vegetales y animales aut\u00f3ctonas y revalorizar el patrimonio alimentario olvidado.<\/p>\n<p>Su amor por su tierra, Menorca, ha sido el principal motor de sus esfuerzos por obtener el certificado de restaurante Slow Food Km0 (el \u00fanico restaurante de Baleares que ostenta este reconocimiento), la certificaci\u00f3n de Reserva de la Biosfera de Menorca y 4 estrellas como restaurante Baleares Libre de Pl\u00e1stico. A trav\u00e9s de su restaurante, Silvia se compromete constantemente a contribuir a una isla m\u00e1s sostenible y apoyar la econom\u00eda circular, como por ejemplo abasteci\u00e9ndose localmente del 90% de sus productos.<\/p>\n<p>A nivel personal, se siente orgullosa de ser embajadora oficial de Menorca, Regi\u00f3n Europea de la Gastronom\u00eda galardonada 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Silvia Anglada naci\u00f3 en Ciutadella, Menorca.
