Head of Projects Management – Kvarner Region Tourist Board<\/strong><\/p>\n Renata Vincek has worked in the tourism, event management and cultural sectors for more than three decades in various roles, including project manager, advisor, cultural producer, Head of HR, etc.<\/p>\n Presently, she holds the position of Head of Projects Management at the Kvarner Region Tourist Board where she is working on the development of gastronomy in one of the most developed tourist destinations in Croatia. She has been actively involved in the implementation of regional brand labels in gastronomy and the wine scene. Furthermore, Renata is a\u00a0level 1\u00a0certified sommelier.<\/p>\n Along with gastronomy, as a tourism offering, she is working on the development of cultural tourism and health tourism in the Kvarner region, within which a healthy Mediterranean diet plays an important role for local residents as well as for visitors.<\/p>\n For the past 7 years, she has been leading and participating in several EU projects mainly focused\u00a0on tourism valorization based on sustainable tourism principles that aim to preserve, protect, promote and develop maritime heritage of the Northern Adriatic and other projects\u00a0that link historical heritage and traditional values with the current tourism offer of the Kvarner region, including gastronomy.\u00a0In several EU projects she was a member of the Steering Committees taking an active role in projects development.<\/p>\n Renata is passionate about her work and dedicated to the promotion of the Kvarner region destination around the world. She maintains business ties and communications with partners from many countries. She is a member of the SKAL INTERNATIONAL CLUB, one of the most important global networks that connects Travel and Tourism Professionals from all over the globe.<\/p>\n She graduated from the University of Rijeka – Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija, Croatia and holds a Bachelor degree in economics.
