Jorge Bern\u00e1rdez is an IGCAT expert (International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism) since 2016. He is a specialist in strategic and operational management, financing and fundraising. He has more than twenty years of experience in management, direction, consulting and training of organisations, mainly in the cultural, tourism and leisure fields, in Barcelona (Ticketmaster, Ikonos Cultural, Poble Espanyol, Orquestra Simf\u00f2nica del Vall\u00e8s), Paris (MN Picasso-Paris, Parc Zoologique), and the Canary Islands (M\u00e9morial Agadir 1960). He has been President of the Association of Professionals of Cultural Management of Catalonia (APGCC) (2002-2007) and the State Federation of Associations of Cultural Managers (2004-2006), as well as lecturer and guest speaker in different official Master\u2019s Degree in Arts and Cultural Management. Bachelor’s degree in Economics,\u00a0 (UAB), Master’s degree in Cultural Management (UB) and MBA (UPF). Studies abroad: Music administration (City University, London) and Arts Marketing (E\u0301cole des HEC-Montreal).<\/p>\n

He works at Famt\u00e0stic \u00b7 Evenings of Gastronomic Arts<\/i><\/a>, a unique event that brings together live artists, audiovisual elements, gastronomy, and musical components with the finality of creating a diverse cultural offering for the public and local, as well as external, content producers. In the thematic sessions of Famt\u00e0stic, the audience is offered a combination of artistic content centred around the theme of each evening. He also led the Paisaje de la Gastronom\u00eda<\/em>\u00a0(Gastronomic Landscape<\/i>) of Poble Espanyol 2010-2012, promoting gastronomy as a strategic asset in this cultural attraction of Barcelona. The project included a new theme area (based on the Km0 concept), Gastropop<\/i> festivals (based on food & drinks quality labels), and Gourmet activities<\/i> (targeting professionals and deep gastronomy lovers).<\/p>\n

Jorge is a professor in the business and arts and tourism management fields, with experiences at EU Business School and in the International University of Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain). He is continuously invited to give lectures and speeches linked with artistic and cultural management, tourism, food and gastronomic networks. He possesses tremendous knowledge of the main fairs and professional meetings in the field, as Alimentaria, San Sebasti\u00e1n Gastronomika Week, Madrid Fusion, and Gastronomic Forum.<\/p>\n
