Newsletter EUHTStPol<\/strong>.<\/a>\u00a0Wine tourism has been recovering the usual rhythm since the economical crisis.\u00a0 The number of visitor to wine cellars associated to the Wine Route in Spain has increased to 1.689.203 on 2013, this is 18.08% that the year before according to the sixth annual report of the Observatorio Tur\u00edstico. The study stresses that \u2018wine tourism has become an important complement to Spanish tourism\u2019. Moreover, this model \u2018represents an interesting alternative of travel in case the tourists want to reduce time and distance in their trips\u2019. Due to the importance of season in the making of wine, wine tourism can now be confirmed to be a powerful product to promote seasonality and lengthening the tourist season.
