Erik has worked for more than 15 years with business development in public – private collaboration. Particularly tourism, food develoment and the cultural sector has been the focus of Erik’s work as the head of division in Central Denmark Region. Here he was the man behind and one of the founders of Danish Food Cluster, Central Denmark Tourism Agency and the joint effort of Aarhus Municipality and Central Denmark Region as a region of gastronomy. Erik is the man behind the regional mindset and collaboration in the ECoC Aarhus 2017.
