Assistant – European Region of Gastronomy Platform and Gastrodiplomacy Report
Clara Melluish is an IGCAT associate. Her background lies in theatre and languages but in 2013, she chose to retrain in the field of cultural relations. She graduated from the Cultural Policy, Relations and Diplomacy MA from Goldsmiths College, University of London in February 2015. She is particularly interested in gastronomy as a tool for soft power and nation branding and is currently co-authoring a report on Gastrodiplomacy with IGCAT’s Director Diane Dodd. Previous writings include French wines as a tool for cultural diplomacy in China, as well as a Masters thesis on gastrodiplomacy.
